Frank Kwok
Frank is a professional international artist for more than two decades, one of the few Chinese artists who won the Philippe Charriol Foundation award. As a life-long fan of Yau, he took over ‘Art to Fly’ as chairman after Yau’s immigration to Canada. Since then, he has been art consultant of various art societies. He then founded Artist Cradle, a charitable organization in Hong Kong which evangelizes through Christian artworks. “In fact, his contribution in the art world of Hong Kong has been profound. His love of painting rewarded him a fine art degree followed by art exhibitions locally and abroad. Besides art creations, Kwok engages in art teaching. Particularly this year, Kwok’s biography as a living artist and teacher, is being interviewed and documented by Hong Kong Baptist University.

Art is most thrilling in its subtleness lying in the rich and beautiful context of lines and shadows. Hectic all day long, Frank works hard from early morning to late evening, and is never satisfied. This perfection drive becomes the engine of focus for creativity, erasing fears of uncertainty, and he strives to enrich and excite his living. He keeps searching to create masterpieces but realizing that early artworks lack life. He recalls his mementos to find the real meaning of life; until one day he found Him, the source of creation. As he connects with Him, his life is never the same. When art is aligned with life, there is heat and light; every artwork paints the essence of the life of a fine artist.
